Ammoudi is a seaside settlement in the Lefkogia Community of the Municipality of Agios Vasilios, in the Rethymno Regional Unit of Crete. It is located 32 kilometers from Rethymno and around 5 kilometers from Plakias. They are accessible by asphalt road from Lefkogia and by dirt road from the neighboring beach of Damnoni.

The area has a series of small sandy beaches, within coves. The first beach is Ammoudi or Megalo Ammoudi, which is reached by an asphalt road. The beach is sandy with a rock slab in the middle. The Hellinikon stream flows into this beach. There is a restaurant and a scuba diving school in Megalo Ammoudi.

Between Ammoudi and Damnoni, about 200 meters west of Ammoudi, are two other, smaller beaches, Ammoudaki and Kleisidi. Kleisidi is located to the east and Ammoudaki to the west. They are connected by an underwater passage. Ammoudaki is a nudist beach. It has a restaurant and umbrellas. At the western end of the beach is a small cave. Kleisidi has a rock in the sea.
